Paintings born in the city: series about Timișoara, the Revolution, portraits, and abstraction—rich colors, direct gestures, lived memories.
Today, I no longer ask who I am.
I put my life on canvas.
The energy of the Revolution did not remain in the past; I carry it in every layer of color and carry it forward into what we are building now: living exhibitions, galleries in hospitals, meetings with people where they need light.
My painting has turned towards the community. In camps, in the mountains, or in the city, I open my easel and let the children happily steal my first brush. In art therapy workshops, we learn together to breathe through color. In documentary films, I try to capture traces of this journey—with old friends, new friends, roads, and vacations where cities become open palettes.
I don't sell images of the past; I build the present. Timișoara remains my rhythm: stairs, squares, people, lights. Each work is an invitation to stay close, to see, to feel.
My painting belongs to those who look at it. I remain in the middle of it, alive.
